Art and culture project: "Ich.MORGEN". / 2022, Stadt Gießen

"Ich.UMWELT" : Environment is a term with multiple meanings. On the one hand, we understand the ecosystem or nature of our planet earth as environment. On the other hand, the environment also means our immediate surroundings: our city, our district, the places where we spend our lives together with other people.

In short, the environment is something that affects us all. It is something that shapes us and makes us who we are. But we also shape our environment and change it in the process. The question of how we deal with our environment has therefore become increasingly urgent in recent times. How will it change as a result of climate change and what can we do to minimize the impact (and climate change itself)?

What should the world we live in look like? A question that we must also ask ourselves in relation to our urban environment. What should the casting of the future look like? Can we all live well together in this?

„Einklang“

Lasst uns Teil sein

Im Einklang sein

Achtsam und bewusst sein

Umwelt erleben

Natur erleben

Mit ihr eins sein

Uns verbunden fühlen

„Entfremdung“

Vom Biotop ins Technotop

Verlieren wir Kontakt

Verschwindet Natur

In Erholungsreservate

Vergessen wir unseren Ursprung

Fremdgesteuert, Abgetrennt

Spüren wir eine unsichtbare Wand

Zwischen Mensch und Welt

Leben im Tempo

Von Fortschritt und Wandel

In Sehnsucht nach Verbundenheit

Nach wahrer Natur

Erfahren Beziehungsverlust

Verlieren Bezug

"Ich.MENSCH": Who are we and where do we come from? And above all, where are we going? These are questions that we have always asked ourselves and will continue to ask ourselves. We want to know what defines us as human beings and what makes us so special as human beings. Our culture is a legendary story. We set out to change the whole world. But we are just one of many creatures on earth. And many of these creatures surpass us in the abilities and skills that we have long attributed exclusively to ourselves. So are we as special as we think we are? Not only have we changed the earth, we have changed ourselves as well. We evolved from small groups of gatherers and hunters into global societies. Today we live in highly complex infrastructures. Countries, cities and also the villages are connected with complicated technologies. But many of the questions from yesterday are still the questions we are still asking ourselves today.

„Begegnen“

Lasst uns Mensch sein

Miteinander und füreinander

Lasst uns Individuen sein und Mitmenschen sein

Lasst uns neugierig und offen sein

Uns gegenseitig sehen, tolerieren, verstehen

Lasst uns lebendig begegnen

Lasst uns zuhören und begreifen wollen

Uns respektieren und würdevoll achten

Lasst uns Platz haben für Vielfalt

Für Kompromiss und Konfliktlösung

Für Dialog und Perspektivenwechsel

Lasst uns uns verstehen wollen

Und uns mit offenem Herzen begegnen.

„Eingekapselt“

Ich hier, Du da.

Moderner Wandel, Unsicherheiten, Orientierungslosigkeit

Freiheit und Sicherheit

Chancen und Risiken

Ich hier, Du da.

Selbstorientierung, moralische Überzeugungen, Werthaltungen

Individualismus, Selbstverwirklichung, Entfaltung

Ich hier, Du da.

Echokammern und Filterblasen

Intoleranz, Unverständnis und Abgrenzung

Ich hier, Du da.

 Vorurteile und Stereotypisierungen

Innere Identifizierung und äußere Distanzierung

Ich hier, Du da.
